Matt Little Announces Candidacy for Clark County Council District 4
Camas, WA – Today Matt Little, a bipartisan leader in land use issues, coalition-building and nonprofit businesses, launched his campaign for Clark County Council to represent District 4.
Matt's career includes serving in Congress as a staff member for both parties, working with state and federal agencies, and leading nonprofit organizations and local coalitions to improve our communities while conserving our natural resources. Matt is currently the Policy Director for Ducks Unlimited’s Western Region and runs a nonprofit business providing the Salmon Watch youth education program in our local schools. Matt lives in Camas with his wife and two daughters and their pudelpointer Hazel.
“I love Clark County and I am thankful to be raising my family here,” says Matt Little. “Listening to our neighbors, I share local concerns about the high cost of living, employment opportunities, and quality of life. The pressures of rapid growth we face must be balanced with sustainable economic development that maintains our unique way of life. We’re at a critical juncture for Clark County’s future, and we need experienced leaders to help move us forward.”
Matt’s goals for Clark County include collaborating with diverse stakeholders to provide the resources that will best serve our families and businesses. Matt believes Clark County Council has a critical role in guiding our economic growth and offering diverse options for housing, transportation, and recreation. Matt has a plan to maintain Clark County’s rural character and local agriculture while growing our urban areas to include more walkable communities with affordable housing and family wage jobs.

In 2025, the Clark County Council will be updating the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan, which will determine the future of our community. If elected, Matt will use his experience on similar councils and collaborative groups to help guide this process.
Matt is an independent voice for Clark County who listens to all perspectives and is thankful for this opportunity to serve our community.
